This is the second book in the series and it follows the overarching plot while exploring the relationship between Tyomar and Oshali. Tyomar is one of the Dragorai brothers who saved Oshali and brought her to Meyhu temple when she was a baby. While being educated at the temple, she becomes a liaison between the Meyhu and Tyomar. When Oshali is tasked with a dangerous mission, Tyomar insists on escorting her and sparks fly. While I enjoyed the story, it didn't grab me as much as book one. I wanted a more in-depth exploration of the alpha/omega bond as well as less focus on inner thoughts. I did enjoy Oshali's sass, though Tyomar left me a bit cold. There were also some editing issues here that should be addressed. While this wasn't my favorite by the author, I'm still intrigued by the other brothers stories and will continue with the series.
