Grant: One Night with a Billionaire (One Night)

I like this author’s writing and I get that we all have our personal demons but the male lead in this story, Grant, irritated me. I didn’t appreciate that he’d left the female lead, Eliza, with no explanation and never come back and apologised. It just rubbed. And, whilst she made him work for forgiveness and to feel secure in his future intentions, a lot of that was off the page.
This short story was dual POV, well written and edited, and introduced a new set of characters who are intriguing in a town that is interesting. Whilst this storyline/character didn’t do a lot for me, I’m curious to see where the author takes the series.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
