very blockbuster-y

a very well written solid read, with solid plot and solid characters (as in not unlikable but nothing to write home about either). the romance was a bit bland, and by the end of the day its still a detective/cop/fbi story that focuses more on the mystery aspect than characters / couple so.. i just couldnt rlly fully enjoy it. im biased ik, do pick this up, esp if ure looking for murder/serial killer mystery novel where the romance takes a back seat

(believe it or not i do read & enjoy non romance novels, albeit only happens once in a year probably, but it does happen lol)
