Another new author for me and another really pleasant surprise.


I really liked to see a new idea for the world-builder. I haven't read many series where the complete world was in darkness. It was a very welcomed surprise, well done, new author I like!

For some reason, I didn't have high hopes for this series. So imagine my surprize when I picked up the first book, read it in half a day, and got the rest of the series on the same day.

Yup, definitely catchy.

I liked the overall plot although well, the ending of the series was a bit meh (it's the reason why this series doesn't get more than 3.5 stars). I'll write more about this in the review for the last book though.

Anyway, yup, really good series, worth a read. And I'm gonna go see what else this author has that might be interesting, she's definitely on my list now.
