Love this book. It's probably my second best in the series (nothing can surpass Lothaire so far, maybe when Nix's story comes out).
Lachlain
Emmaline
Lachlain and Emma are so sweet together. Lachlain has that typical "prejudice against mate's species" that Cole is so fond of but he doesn't take it to the limit(and he definitely makes up for it IMO). Emma is cute and kind. She finds her badassness along the way but she doesn't lose her innosence.
The story is lovely. The Valkyries as awesome as always. I WANT NIX'S BOOK. I won't rest until I see it on the horizon.
I will be re-reading all my favs in the series in the near future because I missed them.<3

Re-read it as part of the IAD series Read-A-Long with the League of Lusty Ladies.
This book never loses its shine! xx

You guys re-reading this series are killing me. I need to re-read it so badly but I'm drowning in school work!

Anyway. Yeah, I think Nix'll be the end of that story-arc. She's been machinating behind the scenes for far too long to get to her desired outcome. LOL
While I read this book I decided that I want Nix with Kristoff for some reason! I want more Kristoff and Nixie would be an awesome Bride!:P
Damn it, that just drives home the point that I need to re-read these books ;)
Hmm. Kristoff could be interesting. But I thought he was going to end up with (view spoiler) Or maybe I'm mixing him up with someone else (view spoiler). :P

You know... That was my first idea too. But Furie is still absent so I am not adding her in my "Want" list until they actually find her.
I love my Lachlain too. After re-reading the book I think my Emmaline isn't very good. I need a blue eyed one but I like this girl!:P
BTW I love the character pics
She's definitely got plenty of characters to play with yet. And the way she keeps overlapping timelines, she's got plenty of time too.
That's another thing that amazes me about her writing - she has some of the most convoluted, intricate plotting and timelines I've ever read. And she keeps them straight. O_O
oooh, it would be cool to read Furie and Kristoff and Furie's sister[Cara?]. And any other Valkyries, love 'em!
This means it'll be at least 10 years before I get her book(I accept nothing less). KC could at least release a book in her IAD and one in her Dacians every year. I hate waiting a whole year every time.
I read somewhere that Furie and Kara will both get their books so YAY there. I'm kind of uninterested in Annika as a protagonist. She is a mother figure for me. I know that she probably looks as young as the rest but I always picture a 50 year old woman whenever she is mentioned.
I know about Furie having a book, but didn't know about Cara. Yay[I remember her and that human that was trying her nerves that she had to 'look after']!
