really liked it

I see so many 1 star rate for this book that I am gleefully writing this review. Maybe it was the hiper enjoyable narrator, or maybe I missed something important, because I enjoyed listening to every minute of this book and I already listened to the second one, for you to see how entertaining I thought it all was. Who knows?

Was it a ridiculous affair and I think the heroine needed to control her body a bit? Absolutely.

Was the hero a controlling freak that mothered his siblings like nothing? Oh yes.

I agree with everything bad I read about this review. That are many things I thought ridiculous but they in no way lessened my enjoyment.

Nabilah Great review, Luana! Glad that you enjoyed it. I've tried a few Jess Michaels books in the past but didn't enjoy them. So, she's not my kind of author.

Luana ☆ That is true. We all have those authors that does not fit to our tastes. Mine is Lisa Kleypas (even though I liked a couple of her books), Julia Quinn (I think her books are very meh) and Tessa Dare. I believe all of them have a strong modern feel that is not to my taste.

I loved Lisa Kleypas except for her earlier books which I just couldn't get into. JQ is meh for me; not enough angst, but my sister loved her. I found TD books to be funny and light-hearted but anachronistic, though. I don't really mind anachronistic; it depends on how the author puts it.
