Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee

Say your ten hail marys because this story will grab you from the first word and not let go until the last…

Intense, rapid-fire emotions: Raw. Disgust. Sad. Beautiful.
An incredible portrayal of the atrocities of war through the eyes of an Iraqi young women and an American soldier; both souls broken by the hand that life has dealt them. Hunter and Rania find themselves together in a situation of survival and fall in love as they save each other from the pain of their past and present.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I am looking forward to reading more from her. I really liked the alternating POV’s of the MC’s and the detail she wrote the scenes was so palatable that I was able to feel the pain, fear and love; what I look for in a good book and this was a very good book. One that will stay with me for a long time.
