stuff i loved
-a slow burn romance???? with an actually interesting plot going on outside of the relationship??? never heard of her.. till now !!
- i ♥️ barret bloom and miles kasher-okamoto sjsvdjavhdgdbs. barrett is most definitely the funniest narrator I've ever witnessed in a book , and miles just gives me clement from pokemon vibes can't explain it
- I'm semi in love with professor okamoto no shame bout it B)
- as a gal hoping to get into journalism myself, i could really relate to barret and the comfort she finds in magazines
- i despise physics but i will admit what i learned from the book was interesting, you can tell Rachel Lynn Solomon really put effort into good research
- ‼️ repreprep ‼️- plus size Jewish mc, sapphic couple as parental figures in Barrett's life, Miles is Japanese -Jewish + questioning sexuality rep
- barrett setting a frat house on fire multiple times in the book was possibly the best part
- oh nevermind, the shabbat dinner 😭😭
- "It's cruel how beautiful Miles looks pinned against the dusk, hair wild, eyes matching the sky. It's the kind of image that makes me wish I were an artist, if only for tonight" ABZJSBDJJSJJHJ
- the song i would attribute to miles and barret would be get you by daniel caesar and kali uchis
stuff i didn't love
- the only thing that I didn't love was how long this book is ( 6th grade me after reading them thick ass fantasy novels would be ashamed at how weak i am now lmao)
