THIS BOOK IS SO INSANELTW: self harm, blood/bleeding, grappling with health condition, sexual content, mentions of alcholism/getting drunk, depression
THIS BOOK IS SO INSANELY SIMILAR TO NORMAL PEOPLE -skinny Irish white girl mc with trauma and bad self image - brooding, complex buff Irish white guy love interest who can't express emotions -very detailed little moments insignificant to the plot (my personal fave) - characters are in the arts/ liberal minded scene -vacation moment at a sunny Mediterranean place ‼️with drama‼️
i liked normal people better tho

after crying fervently on and off for a day, I have come to say this -All My Rage is one of those books that is alive and changes with you as you read it (if that makes sense) -I have never learned more about love and family than from this book, and I see so many family dynamics in this book in my real life. WE NEED MORE IMPERFECT MUSLIM FAMILY REP IN BOOKS -This book is so well thought out, you can tell the lines that are meant to hit you HIT YOU -I have so many music recommendations from Noor now <3 -I am so grateful for the effortless backdrop of Islam weaved throughout this gem of a book. -Lastly, when I reread this book (which I most definetely will do), I will conduct detailed notes on Auntie Misbah's parenting. She is the mother I can only hope to be....more
