There are some trigger warnings which the author does an amazing job describing at the beginning.
I enjoyed this book. Electra is the personal assistant to her new boss, Bastian. There isn't much talk about it being a forbidden romance like you'd normally find in an office romance book.
Bastian invites Electra into his world of BDSM and she is brand new to it. It does give Fifty Shades of Grey vibes but more spice and less cliche in my opinion.
I do wish there was more about Electra's relationship with her best friend once she has agreed to the contract terms. In the beginning she tells her best friend such personal details of other encounters but once she starts seeing Bastian there is no other talk about her telling her friend. (It was briefly mentioned about asking to tell her but nothing further)
Overall it was a pretty good book and I'm happy I got the chance to read a new author!
