This is the sixth book in this incredible series, and this is Jordan and Douglass’ story. Douglass has loved Jordan since she was a teenager, but he was engaged to her older sister. Douglass always felt that she was an outsider in her family and has low self esteem issues, thanks to her sisters bullying. When Jordan catches his fiancé cheating the week before the wedding with his best friend, he relies on alcohol to see his through the day. One night together with Douglass cannot forget, and Jordan cannot remember. Five years later Douglass is back in town, but can Jordan redeem himself? This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, drama, anguish, bullying, guilt, regrets, insecurities, second chances, explosive chemistry, and love, which leads to an addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
