it was amazing

It's scarred, lonely Frantor's turn to woo his bride and...let's just say his alien brothers took him by surprise when they dropped Florie off at his place and the guy wasn't at all prepared for her. I mean mentally and emotionally. Frantor has hangups about his scars and cybernetic parts and he has to come to terms with them as much as the idea that a human woman would want him.

Fortunately for Frantor, Florie isn't at all put off by either his scars or his mechanical bits. She likes his kindness (even in the face of an unexpected guest) and she isn't about to let his seeming standoffishness push her aside. Which means she's soon convinced Frantor to spend time with her and the more time he spends, the more he sees how nicely they fit.

Sure, it takes time for the big guy to warm up and he wears a mask (at first) to hide his more obvious scars, but these two get where they need to be. Eventually. And Frantor finally shows himself to the other brides, which thrills Nelly since she has a soft spot for the alien who saved her earlier on.

A brother who sees himself as a monster, a woman who absolutely doesn't, a snowstorm, a few good meals with good company, and some sexy times. Because YES! *thumbs up*
