really liked it

The Woman with the Flowers is the 5th book in the Costa Family series. This is Cesare and Mere’s story.

Cesare is a member of the mafia. When there is an issue with the money they’re supposed to be receiving from their flower shop business in Maine, he is sent to check on things and see what’s happening. Cesare didn’t expect the beautiful and shy Mere who was now working at the flower shop.

Mere had a rough childhood, and her only family is her cousin and roommate Vega. She works at the flower shop and lives a quiet life. That is until the dark and handsome Cesare strolls into the flower shop where she works.

This is a sweet story. I like both Cesare and Mere, and it was cute watching them fall for each other. Cesare has never thought about being serious with anyone before, so he was vulnerable and unsure of some of his actions. Mere was a little bashful and worried about her cleaning compulsions, but Cesare never made her feel uncomfortable and accepted her as she was.

Vega is a great addition to the story, and I hope to see her again in the future.
