This is one of those situations where I have to say it's me, not the book. I don't mind dark reads but I hate any sort of love triangles, I prefer two people, no extras involved. This book was even weirder because it involved the brother. I prefer my hero to be truly possessive about his girl.
Another thing, I didn't feel a true connection with the main characters. I absolutely hated everyone in this book including the H/H. Actually I hated the little whore 'Lucinda' the most, I can't stand her.
