it was amazing

Never read Ronald Dahl books as a kid and I'm not sure why. this is the second one I've read first being Charlie and the chocolate factory, and I loved it. Dahl is so good with characters and simple themes. Next up is Matilda.

Debbie W. Funny, but I never read Dahl either as a kid! Glad you're having fun with this author, Lee. Hope you enjoy Matilda. I enjoyed reading aloud The BFG to my Grade 3 students.

yeah Crazy, never heard of the author thought these were just kids movies. i might add Gene wilder was a favorite actor of mine based on his work in Charlie and the chocolate factory. I never heard of Dahl. i am enjoying my journey through his work!

Constantine I have not read this one. Glad you enjoyed it a lot, Lee. Sounds like a very charming story.
