A Not So Fictional Fall (Cataloochee Coffee Shop Romances, #1; Sweater Weather, #6)

Update— I read this adorable story last year, and recently listened to the audiobook. I was reminded why this modern-day marriage of convenience was so good!
“When did this ambush on my heart take place? I have not been guarding myself well enough. Now I am a man who feels so much. A man who would do anything Tasha wants me to do. A man who cannot stop thinking of her.”
This modern-day marriage of convenience story ambushed my heart, and I am not upset about it. Having read all of this author’s previous works, I knew this was going to be good, but it exceeded my expectations and I genuinely loved everything about it.
Tasha is thrilled to attend an author event where she’s going to meet her favorite romance author, Amelie De Pierre. She gets a big surprise to learn that is a pen name for the very handsome, charming, and manly Pierre Toussaint.
Because of a mistake with his visa, Pierre is in need of an American wife if he’s going to be able to stay in the country and complete his North American book tour.
After a suggestion by his agent, he and Tasha agreed to a temporary marriage of convenience. Watching the relationship go from fake to very real was an absolute delight!
What I loved:
Marriage of convenience
French MC
Bookstagrammer FC
Dual POV
French phrases and cultural references
Rene
The wedding
Pierre talking in his sleep
Beautiful fall vibes
“My heart is hers”
HEA
A Not So Fictional Fall is a perfect romance for the fall season, and one I highly recommend. C'était magnifique!
Many thanks to the author for a gifted copy!
