This book was beautiful and tragic, and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Our female lead, Syn, had a life altering event that happened to her ten years ago, and she can’t remember a thing about it. She is left with scars and nightmares that she tries to piece together to better understand, but she can’t. Fast forward to her starting college. She is nervous but excited to be on her own after it has just been her and her adoptive mother for the past ten years.
One night after work, she sees something she shouldn’t and that is when she ends up being kidnapped (for her safety) and is forced to live with three beautiful and broken men who have scars of their own. Hidden scars and secrets that make them extra dangerous. One by one, they infiltrate her every thought, and she finds herself falling for the three men. Each of them are different, though all of them are quite alluring. All wealthy playboys. All have secrets.
Constantine is the quiet yet extremely smart one. He is comfort for Syn. He treats her like a delicate flower.
Tristan is bold and authoritative. He has a bit of a temper, yet when he sees Syn, she is all he sees.
Hendrix is the cocky, threatening one of the group. His good looks and charm get him far. It takes him a while to warm up to Syn because he doesn’t trust people easily.
Syn is a mystery to them. They dig into her past and start to wonder what the heck happened to her. Someone knows something and is after her. The Twins (who are enemies of the guys) seem extremely interested in Syn, and the guys want to know why.
After hearing Syn say something in a different language, Constantine figures out a piece to her past. The guys are beside themselves and will now do whatever it takes to protect her.
This book ends on a cliffhanger, and when I tell you I gasped at the end…😲
