it was amazing
Read 2 times. Last read September 18, 2023 to September 19, 2023.

This was a refreshingly (is that a word?) sweet and swoony marriage of convenience story. The characters were very likable and relatable.

Tasha is a bookstagrammer and author support person who loves books by Amelie de Pierre. She flies across the country to meet her favorite author only to find out she’s a he with a feminine pen name. She also meets four of her online book besties.

Pierre is a French romance author who is immediately Attracted to Tasha. He’s very attractive and put together. I loved his endearing way of reverting to French and then when his thoughts were too revealing, refusing to translate them for Tasha.

There were lots of laugh out loud moments, including a memorable meet cute. I really enjoyed the interactions between Tasha and Pierre. Neither one wanting to acknowledge how real their feelings were.

This was a very fun and heart warming book. I highly recommend.
