Quick-paced and very interesting read.
I found it interesting following the characters
backstories in depth along with the present.
All the characters had opportunities and motives.
Complicated character which are well fleshed
out, well created and intriguing. The romance was
just the right touch…A well put together story that
will hold your interest from beginning to end (with)
twists and turns that will surprise you and a
great ending.
Combine a real estate agent who is a widow,
and has two cats, Trixie Beldon and Watson plus
loves detective stories with a real life detective who is
the lead investigator, Detective Joe McAlister in the
murder of Al Capelli, owner of Capelli Builders.
Joe came from Baltimore. Helen notices he’s handsome
and single, she says she’s not interested.
Helen is a devoted mystery lover with favorites being
Nancy Drew, Agatha Raisin, Nora Charles, Jessica Fletcher,
and Miss Marple. Helen’s Detection Club was always in
her mind using the sleuthing talents of each of her
favorite sleuths to solve the murder.
A fun recommended read.
Thanks to the Cozy Mystery Review Club for the
opportunity to read this book. My opinion is my own and
voluntary.
