I thought this book was ok…if that. I’m really sad bc I love the other books in the Sweater Weather series, this one just wasn’t it…😩 I think the author tried so hard to incorporate the ‘Frenchman’ aspect that she made it cringey. Plus, I now think that I don’t like the marriage of convenience trope lol. Their relationship was like 9 weeks in total? They went from just friends, then his friend said something, and suddenly he’s in love?? Idk….I feel like it was too far fetched to include Harvest Hollow. It really limited the story unfortunately. Obviously they needed to include Harvest Hollow, but I just didn’t like it. I didn’t like how he kept talking about Rene stealing Tasha…if he’s your best friend, he will not try to steal her. If not, maybe worry about it lol. Like, let it go!!! And like I said, the marriage of convenience just wasn’t done right I don’t think. I just felt like since it was illegal and everything it was just icky😂 Anywayyyy, I probably wouldn’t recommend this book. Plus, it took me forever to get through, which is annoying! Lol
