Meet Me in December: A Sweet Holiday Romance

This is the first book of the author's that I've read and I will definitely be reading more from her! The book's blurb is straightforward. Meet Me in December is told through Felicity and Giancarlo's pov and is a sweet holiday second chance romance.
While Felicity loves making glass ornaments, she's been feeling discouraged at her work so being home for the holidays and trying to uncover part of her grandmother's past is the perfect distraction. She wasn't counting on Giancarlo, her brother's best friend and her past crush, to arrive with her brother to celebrate the holidays with them. Like Felicity, Giancarlo has been struggling to find inspiration for a mural he was commissioned for. He hoped returning to Wedgefield would be a nice change in scenery to spark his creativity but he wasn't counting on the feelings that would resurface upon seeing Felicity again. As they spend time together and try to surprise Felicity's grandmother, neither is able to deny the feelings they have for each other.
Although Giancarlo is best friends with Clay, Felicity's brother, he also grew up with and was friends with Felicity. Even though things between them didn't end as either had hoped years ago, there were no ill feelings. They knew each other well and it was easy for them to reconnect as quickly as they did. I loved seeing them fall back into the way things were but also liked how they influenced each other to be brave to take chances. Their romance was a clean slow burn consisting of only kissing and no foul language used. While the romance was a slow burn, the length and pacing of the novella didn't make the wait feel long. And, it was certainly worth it as their interactions were full of sweet longing. From the start, I was captivated by the author's writing and enjoyed this story of two tales. This story gives all the cozy Hallmark vibes and is a holiday read you will not regret reading.
