While dealing with the burgeoning relationship outside factors bear heavily on it. Amelia struggles to know who she can trust, are the threats coming from her own family or from Alexei's .

Can their love be enough to see them through this turbulent time? Will their family's past history tear them apart? Can they work together to keep each other safe and deal with the threat against them?

Definitely love this book from start to finish. Love how the author wove the past and the present together to have Amelia 2nd guessing where the threat was coming from. It showed her navigating through a man's world, becoming stronger and more formidable than just a mafia princess. Can't wait for the next in the series.
