this series is haunting my ass. i physically cannot stop reading. somebody needs to do a study on my joblessness because i have barley slept in 3 days i-

this was so addicting, fun, and beyond chaotic. the plot is still very much irrelevant, but i am so attached to this world and these characters so that doesn’t even matter to me. idk what to do with myself when this is over. i wanted to savor this, but i don't see that happening with the rate i am inhaling these. i am going back to school tomorrow— which is out of state— and guess what i have been doing?? reading this shit and looking up fan art. did i pack anything?? fuck no.

・❥・ tory- she and darius are my new favorite characters lmaooo. for some reason i thought i would hate them, but that couldn't be further from the truth. tory was the character everybody told me i would get annoyed with, and for some reason i was so scared that she was going to be this nuisance. that was not the case for me at all. i understand her reasonings as to why she acted and behaved the way she did. also people said this about nesta, and she is my favorite character from the acotar world... idk what that says about me. she had/has every right to treat every guy in this series the way she does, and if she had been super nice, that would not have worked in this book or with her character. the authors made the right call with her storyline (even though her and darius physically hurts).

・❥・ darius- i lowkey think he is my favorite guy. idk what happened lol? he came out of nowhere and was like *boom*. his relationship with tory/roxy was insane in this book. they were the highlight for me. i still think his bond with lance is weird as fuck, and i hope that has a better explanation than what vague description we keep getting. also the blowjob situation??? hello?

・❥・ darcy- i have said this before, and i'll say it again. why is she being done so dirty? i am so scared for her character in the next book because i have no clue how any of this is going to pick up. i have a soft spot for characters like her, and i hope she gets good moments in this next book.

・❥・ lance- oh. my. god. why was he actually kind of annoying in this book?? yikes. i felt like he and darcy took a major backstep in this world and he sort of lost all his charisma and flair he had with the first three books. with the ending-- no spoilers-- i have no clue how this will all get resolved. i just know he and darcy are going to be fighting a lot after this and breaking up every other page. please do not get me started on the scene with tory in the classroom?? goodnight. why the fuck was everyone so chill?? also the weird jealousy with darius and gabriel?? very unserious.
