Stitching Palms (Witches of C.R.O.W. #2)

A good story with a charming romance with magic at its core. While I enjoyed the fun magic system, I felt it lacked some background, especially concerning Diego and the intricacies of the magic system and C.R.O.W.. Nonetheless, the system itself was enjoyable to explore. This could be because I have not read the first book, but I don't know how much the system is explained there. The presence of addicted cultists added an intriguing layer to the narrative, although their inclusion felt a bit odd and out of place at times. Overall, while the book had some vague parts (like why is Diego even alive again) it still offered an engaging story and an endearing romance that kept me entertained throughout, so I would still recommend it.
A sidenote: an aspect that didn't quite hit the mark for me was the blurb—I found it somewhat misleading and not covering the content of the story.
