Pushy youngster of a heroine - a most unpalatable reading experience for me; disengaged H; surrogacy blurb and title with a telling-not-showing pregnancy. A man who loves his dead wife so much that he agrees to father a child with her……shudder…(Um…she’s VERY much alive in spirit - for him & his in-laws; and will be for his child = this author’s favourite trope)
Surrogacy is one of my favourite storylines in Romance.
The body-betraying h + the “disinterested-where-it-matters-hero” is one of my least favourite.
I was hoping for the best, not even expecting the worst🤷♀️
