it was ok

A good quick read

This book had many good, emotional parts that were well done. However, a lot of the rest felt as though no thought was out into how someone would logically act. There are 3 big problems I had that are the reason for me giving only 2 stars.
(Spoilers ahead)

1) No grovel. He doesn't even apologize for not believing in her or questioning the facts. Ridiculous.
2) He doesn't tell her when her mother is in her last moments. WTF?! And then he calls to tell her that her mother has died, doesn't even do it in person?! On what planet would this ever be ok. I hated that she didn't get to be there if she had wanted to.
3) As someone who was wealthy, then so poor she wasn't eating properly, it defies logic that she would give all the money away. Corporations fail all the time, so income from them is not guaranteed. This was a plot point I did not feel was very well thought out, same with the other 2. It was an impulsive, stupid, CHILDISH action.

Anyhow 2 stars I won't be reading any other books in the series.
