Dark Romance, Obssession, Stepbrother, College, Sports, past abuse / traumatic events, some possible triggers for readers. Remy has been through several traumatic events in her past. She gets a scholarship and starts college looking forward to life on her terms. Remy, captain of the swim team, is the typical playboy with a hard family life. Until he meets Fallon. He quickly becomes obsessed. They both have strong personalities and clash from the moment they meet. But that only heightens the sexual tension between them. Remy is possessive to the extreme when it comes to Fallon. I thought his character might be a little darker. In the end they brought out the best in each other. It took time to get there. I liked the story. Swimming is not a regular sports romance. It made this book more unique than other dark romances. Fallon stayed true to her personality for the most part. She gave in to Remy at points, but on her terms. I would definitely recommend giving this book a read after you consider the possible triggers.
