it was ok

This one just felt meh. Alice and Colin only seemed to have a quick connection and then it just seemed to be stagnant for the rest of the book.
Due to the fact that the last book did so little for the overall story it felt like the author just crammed in everything at the end of this book. I also didn’t love how differently the magic system seemed to work for some of the characters in comparison to others.

Literally the love story was so meh they on multiple occasions said they weren’t I love, but maybe could be one day. And not in like a denial way, but like a I don’t feel deeply enough about this person but also seemed to insta-love them???
