Jamie and Landry are both in Colorado for Adam and Chase's wedding, a couple from a previous book in the series. Both MCs have baggage and fairly specific ideas about whether or not they want a romantic relationship but when the right person comes along, neither can deny the attraction and longing for a connection. Jamie pretends to be Landry's bf as his ex-fiance is in attendance too, which brings them together but wasn't really a major part of the story. It did help move the intimacy forward a bit faster than it would've otherwise, something both MCs needed. There was plenty to work through for these guys but together, they dealt with their doubts and insecurities and the epilogue at the end was lovely.
