Wedding Bet (Fixer Brothers Construction Co #8)

I am a big fan of the Fixer Brothers Construction Co book series, and Jamie and Lucky's story is no exception.
Jamie and Lucky are in two different spectrums of the financial ladder. Jamie is living paycheck to paycheck, taking care of himself and his disabled mother. Lucky, has been financially successful, with no one to enjoy it with.
When they both meet, the attraction was palpable. However, it was apparent to Jamie that Lucky was out of his league. When Lucky continued to try his luck (see what I done there) with Jamie, Jamie really thinks he is just playing around with him. It takes some convincing to give Lucky a shot, as friends... because why else would he want to be friends with Jamie. It quickly becomes apparent that friendship is the easy road and something more is dangerous for the both of them.
I loved where the author went with this story. It made me mad, frustrated, happy and created a "what in the world just happened" feelings inside that I had to read it all the way through to see what happened next. I couldn't put it down. If you haven't read the rest of the series, that is ok... however, I highly recommend the rest as well because it makes the story that much sweeter.
I received an ARC of this story from GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.
