Renegades (Breaking the Rules, #1)

Wow, just wow. I want to give this book 10 stars that’s how much I loved it. I’m a huge fan of E. M. Lindsey. I love a lot of authors, but E. M. Is right up close to the top of my list. It’s funny that I love her stories so much because I usually try to avoid too much angst. I know her books have a lot of angst, and this one is right up there. After I quit crying happy tears in the end I had to sit and think about it before writing a review.
As far as I know all of E. M.’s novels deal with people with disabilities. This book is no exception. Kane was abused by his ex lover who was hit by a truck after raping him. Soren had an abusive childhood followed by breaking his back so badly that he was left permanently damaged. In addition he has to deal with an ex husband who uses their son to punish him. It sounds daunting, but it was beautifully written.
