Wedding Bet by Raleigh Ruebins is part of the Fixer Brothers Construction Co. series. Chase and Adam are getting married. Chase’s brother, Jamie, is looking forward to his first vacation in years. He is struggling to get by with his job while taking care of his mom. While there, he meets Landry who is as different from Jamie as possible. Landry is wealthy, sophisticated, and bitter about love. Jamie and Landry are drawn to each other, but both fear that what they want is out of the question. I did love both of these men together. They brought out the best in each other. Landry did drive me crazy at times in his insistence of pushing Jamie away. I was let down by the epilogue though. Eighteen months later and they are talking about moving in with each other in six months. I know that Jamie is independent but goodness. It sort of took me out of the story a little bit. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.
