I’ve enjoyed all eight of the Fixer Brothers books by Raleigh Ruebins, and Wedding Bet might be my favorite. It was fun to see two characters, Jamie and Landry, with mostly minor roles in the series be the lucky couple who will find their HEA. The first connection is that both live in the same geographic area. As they talk, they realize both have adopted a persona for the role they play in their lives. It was fun to watch the barriers be removed bit by bit in the short time of a wedding party. This is one of books where the author has included scenes in different locations, which highlight important themes or tropes in the respective books. In Wedding Bet the main trope is opposites attract. It is a trope I enjoy and Ruebins did an excellent job of executing it. I received an advance reviewer copy of this book and I am leaving a review voluntarily.
