Jamie is a fry cook at a diner in California who has traveled to a resort in Colorado for his brother's wedding. HE had to save and use a credit card to afford the trip and is determined to enjoy his time. The first night he arrives at the resort he meets Landry "Lucky" Lucock and is attracted to him but feels that Lucky is put of his league due to being a rich and successful businessman. The two men keep running into each other and strike up a friendship that soon turns to romance. However, both men have past issues that need to be worked thru. I really liked that Jamie stood up for himself and was so independent and didn't just let Lucky take care of everything. I also liked how we saw their relationship develop after the wedding over time. This was a really sweet and fun holiday read.
