Backstroke is beautifully and darkly written. L.B. Martin is an incredible writer and I loved being able to fully immerse myself into her storytelling. With that being said, I DID NOT want to put this book down and actually called my boss to tell her I would be late coming into work.

The MMC, Remy is exactly how toxically obsessed I want my man to be with me. 🥵🥵

Remy and Fallon's chemistry is to die for. A strong and determined fmc who works fiercely against falling under the MMCs spell but he just does things to her that she just can't fight. 😈😈😈 EXACTLY how I love my bully romances.

Oh and the added bonus that they ended up falling into my favorite taboo category 👀.

If you love bully romances with a dash of taboo you aren't going to want to miss this book!
