Firstly, let’s talk titles. Mason and Lark were never about a fling. Things were serious the first time around, and while Lark wasn’t so sure she wanted to get involved the second time, it still was not really a fling.

I had to slog a bit to get through this story. While I loved the cooking parts, the rest of the story was a bit boring and frustrating. I wanted to bang both their heads together. I suspect the first person writing style was partly what got on my nerves, but I found that this did not held my interest. Having said that, it was not a bad story.
