really liked it

Woohoo! We're back in Colorado in the Fixer Brothers universe...and Chase and Adam are getting married at a lovely resort in the mountains.

Jamie, Chase's brother, is there from California, and he feels like a fish out of water. He barely scraped enough money together to make the trip, and now he's at this gorgeous, romantic destination, completely single.

Almost immediately he runs into Landry "Lucky" Lucock, who is a millionaire friend of the group's, and Emmett's business partner. There are immediate sparks between the two of them, but when Jamie learns that Landry is a playboy and when Landry learns Jamie is looking for love, they decide to be friends only.

Landry used to want love, marriage, kids, the white picket fence. But almost a year ago he proposed to his closeted boyfriend Parker...who said no then immediately admitted to cheating on Landry. Worst of all, Parker and his NEW fiance are both in town for the wedding as well.

During a painful confrontation in the bar one night, Jamie can see Landry's discomfort and Jamie helpfully pretends to be Landry's new boyfriend. It works, Parker is pissed. So Jamie vows to help Landry through the trip by being his fake date.

The two men have fun together, sharing laughs, personal anecdotes, and even a little steam. Things just seem so easy between them. But at the end of the day, they lead two totally different lives. They couldn't possibly work long-term...right?

*swoon* This one was so cute. It might be my favorite Fixer Brothers book! From the very beginning, I fell under the spell of the wedding weekend, the gorgeous mountain setting, and the opposites attract trope. Jamie was the sweetest little marshmallow, and Landry was the nice yet awkward guy who kept his walls firmly in place. So sweet.
