what a fun read! I really enjoyed this story. Although it's a sequel (of To Bring Her Wolf), you don't have to read the 1st book to understand the story.
This book is a quick read but not lacking. No boring moment because it's fast-paced. I'm partial to strong heroines and this story is about an alpha's mate trying to prove her strength and worth to the pack. I love Chloe. She's kind-hearted and brave. Although a bit insecure, she can hold her own against those who wanted her gone. In this novel the hero didn't shine at all... Well, except in the bedroom, lol. He practically did nothing that can help Chloe, not for lack of trying, though. I rarely read romance stories where the hero doesn't have a definite impact on the story. And this is one of them.
Oh, there are lots of sex scenes. Not that I'm complaining, lol. If it's a shapeshifter story you should expect lots of sex. Yeah, werepeople have higher sexual energy than us, humans.
Overall, I love this story. I was definitely satisfied with the ending. Maybe because of the happy ever after ending... Or because the b*tches who were pains in Chloe's ass got what they deserved in the end.
