Little known fact about being a werewolf: There are always wolves at your door and some of them are up to no good.
Chloe Weiss’ dreams have finally come true: She's a null no more, her wolf has finally come. She's now a full member of her pack in the remote Appalachian ‘weretown’ of Hunstville. Even better, she's mated to the pack's next alpha, Jackson Swift. However, now that she's on the other side of her happy ending, things aren't quite as rosy as she'd expected.
The women of her pack resent her status as alpha's mate and suddenly there are rumors that Chloe is an Omega, a werewolf so weak they are banned from ever mating. Worse, an old friend of Jackson's blows into town full of disapproval....and competition. It seems no one likes Chloe except Jackson.
Then women start disappearing, violently kidnapped from their homes and never heard from again. There's a killer on the loose in the small town of Huntsville, and the one wolf he'd do anything to have is Chloe.
Now Chloe will have to fight...for Jackson, her place in the pack, and her life.

The Alpha’s Mate is book two in the Bring Her Wolf series by Michelle Fox. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by the author.
Chloe Weiss spent her life being ostracized because her wolf wouldn’t emerge. She was considered a null. But then the new hunky alpha, Jackson Swift offered to help her to bring her wolf out…by sleeping with her. And it worked. Jackson claims she is his mate. Her life should be perfect now. It’s been two weeks. She has moved in to Jackson’s house and although they haven’t said the actual “I Love You’s” yet, they say it with their bodies, a lot! In Chloe’s words, they go at it like were rabbits. All the time!!! She is getting stronger as a wolf every single day. But, the town still does not accept her. You see, while Jackson was waiting for his chance with Chloe, he slowly slept his way through all the single females in town. Now they hate Chloe for taking him off the market. Especially one in particular. The town mean girl. She is spreading horrible untruths, which in a small community like Huntsville, spread like wildfire. And in addition, a beautiful woman that Jackson grew up with in his own pack has come to town. Even if Jackson claims to think of her as a sister, she most definitely has other ideas. Could life get any better?
“I hadn’t fit in when everyone thought I was a null and now I didn’t fit in as a wolf.”
One of the few women that Chloe considered an almost friend has disappeared. And the scent left behind is unmistakable. It is a rogue wolf. A half man, half wolf creature looking for a mate. Jackson and the other men in town form a search but can’t find him. Jackson is worried that Chloe could be a target since she is mated with an alpha.
I felt terrible for Chloe. She so just wanted acceptance. She was so happy with Jackson but was constantly doubting her own self worth. How can she ever win over the people of this town? Will Jackson get tired of her? Is she truly not fit for an alpha?
“I want everything, Jacks.” He folded his hand around mine and pressed it against his chest. “Then I’ll give you everything.”
I loved this book! It was sexy and I loved Chloe and Jackson. Let me tell you, he is a true alpha. But when he lets his softer side out, “sigh,” I couldn’t help but to swoon. Some of the things he says! This book was also super intense as the situation unraveled with the rogue wolf. This is a short, fast paced, sexy book that will also keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s a definite win, win! I hope you’ll give it a try.
I had struggled with the first in the series Make Her Howl but wasn't exactly sure why and as I already had this as part of a box-set (Fated Mates: The Alpha Shifter Boxed Set I decided to carry on and see how it went.
The book is written in the first person and I really don't like books given from that point of view. There is only one author I manage to put my dislike aside for (and that is Kristen Ashley) and although I love her I really do have to be in the right mood to read her work. So it was always gonna take a special type of author to make me read in that narrative mode. Unfortunately, for me Michelle Fox doesn't fall into that category, that's not to say her writing is particularly bad, it just means that she is not for me and there will be others out there who do like her - it really is just a personal choice!
I did like the premise of the story and that's why I continued reading. However I did have a major problem with Jackson, he just didn't come across as the sexy Alpha male and I am afraid I didn't have a very good image of him in my head. All the man ever wanted to do was get his dick wet, rather than talking, communicating and reassuring the woman who was supposedly his mate, a woman that he couldn't live without, his answer was to f$$k her brains out! Poor Chloe had no idea how to live in pack life as she was always excluded as considered a 'null' (Never shifted into a wolf) and basically treated like she was a leper and didn't exist. Her parents had died when she was a young teenager and rather than anyone else take her in she had to raise herself. The pack Alpha had sort of kept an eye on her and given her extra time to 'bring her wolf' but she was now 25 and he had no choice but to ask her to leave....But along came Jackson who knew how to 'bring her wolf' and of course that was to shag her. Now that she could shift and Jackson had declared her as his mate not only did she have to put up with the resentment of the pack (Jackson was lined up to be the next Alpha so Chloe was the Alpha bitch) but also had to put up with a stream of Jackson's ex women whose noses had been put out of joint as they had been vying to become his mate. Oh, and she also had to put up with threats and nasty behaviour from one of his old pack mates (He was raised in a different Pack) who considered herself to be Jackson's mate despite them never having had a relationship and Jackson seeing her as a sister/friend. Every time Chloe voiced her concerns about lack of pack knowledge, how people were treating her, how his old pack mate was being nasty to her behind his back, or how vicious his ex women were being he just told her to stop worrying, that she was his mate and then distract her with sex!
I just didn't feel the connection between Jackson and Chloe which really spoiled the story. There wasn't really anything else to latch onto as it just revolved mainly around them, 2 vicious women and a little bit about the current pack Alpha. We never really got to know much about anyone else so I can't even say that I would like Ms Fox to tell their story.
Would I read anything else written by MF?....Errr, probably not, I just don't think she is for me.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This was ok enough but Jackson really ruined the story for me. He wasn't an alpha, or what I would expect an alpha to be like and he had no connection to Chloe outside of sex. I was a little bewildered how they even got together when it was revealed he was dating Vicki when he decided to "help" Chloe by having sex with her. WTF? He also just left her floundering when she had no place in the pack and everyone just acted like little high school bitches. When she tried to bring her concerns he dismissed them and then they had sex. It was tiresome. Unfortunately this series probably isn't for me.
I enjoyed the prequel, this however...left a bad taste in my mouth. Jackson, our hero, is probably the most useless, uncaring and - again - USELESS, hero I've ever come across. I'm all for feminism & books with a kick ass heroine but there is a big difference between a kick ass heroine and what we have here (Chloe).
So Chloe is a newly changed wolf, right? So she's essentially a baby and so new to all pack stuff because she's been on the outside looking in her whole life being a Null wolf. So she has to deal with so much stuff (two vicious exes out for revenge, people not believing she has what it takes to be an alpha, a rogue wolf) with NO HELP whatsoever from her mate. Jackson was pretty much just there to have sex.
I did not feel any connection between our 2 main characters simply because Jackson was so out of the loop/story (When I say he appears just for sex, I actually mean it) he felt like a secondary character. Heck I felt more connection between Tonya & Chloe - and they just shared a couple of words before Tonya gets killed.
It really just seems unfair that the bad guys were all brought to the story by Jackson and yet Chloe was left to solve all the problems by herself.
One aspect that also bothered me was Vicki's reaction to being raped by a literal monster. I mean, the girl gets her vagina and stomach torn in half - somehow survives - spends days alone, naked, without food or water healing super slowly - and she gets up, dusts off her shoulders and goes back to plotting against Chloe like nothing ever happened? Yeah, okay. Is she really that bloodthirsty that she continues with her revenge instead of taking care of herself? How the hell did her psyche cope with being raped and torn apart? Plus she goes off and plans to have Chloe raped, too? Girl wtf is wrong with you?
And, when her gig is up, Chloe just outs Vicki for leaving her with the monster...No mention of Vicki's rape, no mention of Vicki's plan to let Ronnie rape Chloe, nothing....And for wolves this harsh (Nulls or Omega's NOT allowed to mate? What? Humans not allowed to live in your town? Nulls have to be thrown out?) The punishment Vicki got was just a slap to the wrist (or a squeeze to the throat)...and she walks away...freely...Quite lenient for such heartless wolves.
The Alpha's Mate is the sequel of To Bring Her Wolf(Make Her Howl). You don't really need to read book 1 to understand this book, but if you want to know where they are coming from in their actions, then yes please do read it. I am a beta reader for Michelle on this book. Jackson and Chloe are starting their new life as mates, but with her being a null, or so she thought, she has a lot to learn to be in a pack. This book deals with her journey to be accepted as pack and her and Jackson learning to love each other. A couple of women in his past are out to destroy her, and their relationship. There were times I cried, and times that I laughed and I so loved their romance and their sex scene. I am glad Michelle wrote this sequel, it was good to know what happened after he brought her wolf and they mated. I loved the story and it was good to know that the current Alpha supports Jackson and Chloe's mating. So, please read book 1 and when this one comes out, get it too. You will be glad you did.
Double wow - I had read THIS one as well? Would wonders never cease to amaze.
Just like with #0.5 - I have absolutely no recollection of ever reading this book. And for me that is quite something because my memory with books is, well, darn good. But even after having read it all not to remember that - hey, I've read this before! - I'm speechless. It was so bad I actually erased it from my memory XD
SO, like I said it for #0.5:
The writing....ooookay-ish, plot...had potential.
For this sequel with same couple as in #0.5 I thought to give it a chance for maybe with more page time it will improve...well, maybe it did by 5% or so.
Now that seriously crappy mate bond/whatever was in place, it is time to test it with...that's right! A childhood friend for our hero who obviously has the hots for him but the stupid hero is oblivious to. YAY - not.
But ok, if you don't like the friend material, we've got an added suspense element of women being kidnapped.
Even though the writing was nothing to praise about, the plot had potential. It just wasn't fulfilled. Sad.
So, 2-ish stars from me for it had the male oblivious to the childhood friend obviously having the hots for him which is a minus, stupid pack members - definitely a huge minus, the kidnapping...well, seemed promising but wasn't executed to it's best...so +/-?
I'm not even mention the sex scenes. Meh.
Therefore, all in all, sadly - just like #0.5: big, fat meh for me. Have the 2* and be grateful.
And turns out the series has a 2nd and 3rd book as well, thou no longer the same main couple...I'm no longer inclined to give those a chance. Thou the rating is considerably better for them, #0.5 & #1 have managed to make me lose any interest in the writer/series.
Bring Her Wolf/Huntsville Pack series is not one I would recommend if one wants to read a good/awesome werewolf romance. However, if one is ok with something easy & fast which does not take up one's mind and likes werewolf romance, then this is it - you found the right series!
Me - nope.
Also, there was this one part in the book describing a past event...they said it was not rape...but it certainly seemed like it. And if it wasn't rape, how come the married "lady" afterwards abandoned her child, huh? Just because it's not her husband's and he doesn't like it? But it was consensual! Or so they say. So yes, that part made me veeeeery suspicious. Basically the hero's home pack has orgies due to the fact that their werewolf whatever makes them super hot blooded & horny after a run so they all have some fun afterwards. And the ensuing children have no idea who their father is. Nice.
Hero's pack have shady orgies that are supposedly consensual due to the fact they all are horny after a run and heroine's pack is full of annoying morons. What "awesome" series. No wonder I had it erased from memory.
I'm almost inclined to give this book 1* but it's not as hateful as those residing in 1* shelf. Actual rating: 1.5*
P.S. You know those authors that are like book machines and produce several books a year? Totally feels like Michelle Fox is among them. And while some authors produce good quality books, Fox is not among them. Mediocre at best.
Reading #0.5 and #1 really felt like it is author's first try at writing...is it? But even it if its, there are those who's first works are 100 times better, so I don't think that quite works as an excuse anymore.
-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Book #0.5 review: Make Her Howl
The Alpha's Mate was supposed to be the main course of the series but for me ended up being more an appetizer.
Chloe was now the "to be Alpha bitch" and she was struggling with her new life: she had to face all Jackson's past lovers (to sum up, all available bitches), face the doubts of the whole pack if she is in fact and Alpha or maybe god forbid an Omega, learn to deal with her wolf or come to her strength and last but not least deal with Jackson and his carefree attitude towards all her insecurities.
There is not much that I can say about Jackson because the book didn't really reveal him. The story was narrated by the author/ Chloe and Jackson was viewed through her eyes and the image given was not a nice one. The only thing that he was good at was to solve all Chloe's concerns through sex. The explanation of why he had to go through the whole pack of females to eventually mate Chloe didn't really convince me or for that matter Chloe. His lack of understanding or reaction towards everything that impacted Chloe was in contrast with his declaration of ownership on her. "Mine" didn't value much in this story when coming from Jackson.
All drama was provided by Jackson's exes and wanna be mates who wanted, needed Chloe dead to get to him. And all Jackson had to do was to provide sexy times and couple of growls "Mine" instead of support.
This could have been an interesting story but if fell flat with the delivery. In the end I am happy the story was a short appetizer because honestly I wouldn't have been able to go through the whole main course.
Chloe and Jackson's relationship is so new, its fragile. Many are determined to tear it down especially the women of the pack. But Chloe refuses to give in, she fights with everything in her and wont back down. She shows them all how strong she is, because she is the Alpha's mate and she is staying for good.
I really liked this book. I could hardly put it down.
This is a great read. I love a really sexy Alpha Wolf & Jackson doesn't disappoint. Chloe was thought to be a null until Jackson mated her and brought her wolf out. Still plagued by nay sayers Chloe fights her insecurities as well as some of Jacksons previous lovers. Fast paced with a great mystery and lots of HOT Alpha to keep you totally captivated.
Another page-turning PNR shifter must read that kept me glued to my seat not wanting to stop! An awesome storyline with well-defined characters full of suspense, drama & smoking hot romance. Great descriptions with surprise twists! I strongly suggest to read the previous book, "Bring Her Wolf" first for best reading pleasure plus I highly recommend any other books by this talented author!
This is the Continuation of "Bring Her Wolf" and man is this one hot, Chloe is a null no longer, but Jackson has turned her into a very needy wolf, needy for him. well-defined characters full of suspense, drama & smoking hot romance. Great descriptions with surprise twists! I strongly suggest to read the previous book, "Bring Her Wolf" first for best reading pleasure.
This is a great start to the series! I do wish that this was written the same as the others in this series where we get both mains point of view. Would have loved if the author gave a look into Jackson’s head.
When I heard there was a follow-up book to the super sexy Make Her Howl, I was all excited! Finding out how the former null and her hunky mate were faring since she found her wolf and shifted was high on my list of things I wanted to read.
Not going to lie, I like where this book went.
Chloe might be a full werewolf who's mated to the future Alpha, but she's hardly comfortable in her skin yet. Never having been a full member of the pack, she doesn't know how to act or how to assert herself with the eyes of everyone on her.
Frankly, Jackson doesn't give her a lot of backup in the beginning. They might be dynamite between the sheets, but they know next to nothing about one another outside the bedroom. He brushes off her valid concerns about the way she's being challenged and doesn't see the potential for disaster in allowing the pack to continue to treat Chloe like she's not quite one of them.
Chloe is full of doubt about herself and her wolf. Being a non-entity for so long leaves her floundering when she and Jackson are suddenly the center of attention. Women who had ignored her before now actively hate her for mating the future Alpha. It's not a fun place to be and Chloe deals with it as best she can.
Throw in a rogue Alpha and a wolf from Jackson's old pack who doesn't know the definition of personal space and things get rough.
Yeah, I'm totally loving this book. I liked that everything wasn't perfect between Chloe and Jackson just because they were mated and that Chloe really did find her inner strength and come into her own. Also, the sex was smokin'. *slow thumbs up to that*
***Please note, book was gifted to me by the author in exchange for an honest review***
The Alpha's Mate by Michelle Fox is told from Chloe, our heroine's point of view. I often struggle with first person because of the I this and I that's. This particular book handled it a bit better than some I've read in the past but at the same time, it stunted my investment in the story and the characters, mainly Jackson, the alpha himself.
Jackson came off as very mechanical to me and I think a lot of it had to do with the fact that I, the reader, never got a chance to step inside his head. He was horny. That's about all I got from him making for a very slow start. It wasn't until about half way through that the storyline picked up and his character showcased some actual personality. There is a kitchen scene between the two that added some much needed romance. The banter was light yet intimate and playful. I only wish there had been a bit more of that. I needed to be sold on the pairing and I never quite got there.
I liked the plot of the book, the mystery of the who and why, and how it all came together. There were a couple of clever plot points that helped balance out the obvious ones and some interesting supporting characters. Chloe isn't a weak heroine, and while I didn't quite connect with her either, she kicked ass when she needed to.
I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. what a fun read! I really enjoyed this story. Although it's a sequel (of To Bring Her Wolf), you don't have to read the 1st book to understand the story. This book is a quick read but not lacking. No boring moment because it's fast-paced. I'm partial to strong heroines and this story is about an alpha's mate trying to prove her strength and worth to the pack. I love Chloe. She's kind-hearted and brave. Although a bit insecure, she can hold her own against those who wanted her gone. In this novel the hero didn't shine at all... Well, except in the bedroom, lol. He practically did nothing that can help Chloe, not for lack of trying, though. I rarely read romance stories where the hero doesn't have a definite impact on the story. And this is one of them. Oh, there are lots of sex scenes. Not that I'm complaining, lol. If it's a shapeshifter story you should expect lots of sex. Yeah, werepeople have higher sexual energy than us, humans. Overall, I love this story. I was definitely satisfied with the ending. Maybe because of the happy ever after ending... Or because the b*tches who were pains in Chloe's ass got what they deserved in the end.
Purch Amazon Oct. 29, 2016 The Alpha's Mate (Bring Her Wolf, #2) by Michelle Fox is an Adult Paranormal Romance. I enjoyed it very much. The characters are interesting, though they are not very complex. Jaxson seems a bit unobservant when it comes to the female tension going on around him. Chloe seems a bit to unsure of herself. However, these things seem to work out for the story. There is mystery and suspense. Great love scenes. A touch of humor. Action and adventure. And a great ending to Chloe and Jaxson's story. Even though there are some editing errors, it is a very fun read! I found 2 more in this series. They way they are listed though, it can be complicated to find them. The titles are, 'The Alpha's Justice (Huntsville Pack #2)' and 'The Alpha's Fight: Huntsville Pack Book 3'. They appear to be connected by the town that Chloe and Jaxson live in, which is Huntsville, Tennessee. Both are listed on Amazon for 3.99 ea. and they are all standalones.
The Alpha's Mate was a good read. I like that even though these are shifters and they have the mate bond, it wasn't all peaches and cream. The bond was all they had and Chloe found herself doubting their relationship as well as if she was strong enough to be the an alpha's mate. As long as they were in the bedroom they were a perfect match, outside Chloe is forced to deal with all of Jackson's past lovers and learning to deal with her newly emerging wolf.
Chloe has to fight for every bit of respect since she was never part of a pack while being a null. She doesn't even know the rules of a pack. When one of Jackson's old pack mates show up Chloe really feels like an outsider and she feel as though Jackson isn't seeing the true nature of his pack mate. It takes Chloe almost losing her life for Jackson to finally see that Chloe need more than the title of mate for their relationship to work.
Great story full of action (and not just in the bedroom). While Chloe and Jackson have to work on their bond, introducing Chloe into the pack and as a leader, they also have a rogue werewolf to deal with who is looking for a special kind of female werewolf to mate.
I read this book as part of the Fated Mates: The Alpha Shifter Boxed Set of which I received an ARC via NetGalley.
I enjoyed this just as much as the first one, maybe even more. I didn't really like the way it ended- too much was stuffed into the last few paragraphs of the book which i thought made it seem a bit rushed, I would have liked there to have been a bit more to the ending.
Living in the small, weretown of Huntsville, Chloe Weiss once thought she was a null--someone who isn't a were at all. Then she met Jackson Swift, who was able to bring her wolf out. Things should be rosy for Chloe. She's now a full member of the pack, she's mated to the future pack alpha, and Jackson is a magnificent lover. However, the other females in the pack resent Chloe's good fortune and are brazen about it. As if that wasn't bad enough, another she-wolf from Jackson's past blows into town, determined to claim the man she's always considered hers. Chloe's troubles are nothing compared to the trouble that a rogue alpha brings when he skulks into pack territory. Now female wolves are disappearing, and the rogue may have his sights set on a mate worthy of an alpha: Chloe.
The story, what there was of it, was interesting. Instead of being a story with sex in it, however, it seemed to be sex with some plot sprinkled throughout. I'm no prude, but sex is meant to spice up a story, not be the main course. In addition, I didn't like that Chloe had two main rivals. One would have been exciting/exasperating enough, but she just couldn't catch a break. Also, Jackson was far more interested in nookie than he was in seeing to Chloe's emotional needs. She needed fewer orgasms and more support and reassurance.
The story was good, but it could have been better. Giving it an average rating.
Content warning- child neglect, abandonment, bullying, physical violence, guns, needles, drugging, kidnapping, sexual assault, mention of rape, blood and death.
It felt like it has taken little bits and pieces of other werewolf / shifter romance to make the story. It was almost 3 stars, okay, but the writing could have been better and I guessed the “plot twist” immediately, as soon as the rouge alpha was mentioned.
Also, the way everything was described as if it was a recap of a previous read in the series but this is the first book in the series so it was confusing and felt like some parts were missing and other just being thrown in.
Chloe is the next alphas mate. She was a late bloomer to shifting so everyone judged her and now don’t think she’s strong enough to be his mate, especially his exs.
‼️SPOILERS AFTER HERE ‼️
A random rouge alpha kidnaps a girl from the town. A friend from Jackson’s former pack comes… wow what a TOTAL coincidence… I think not. She made him rogue and was planning to use him to physically and sexually assault MC until she dies so she can have Jackson to herself.
Ends with MC killing the rouge, the alpha killing the former pack mate, the couple looking after neglected kids while she’s pregnant and they finally get married.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Huntsville Pack series and ends with an HEA. Chloe and Jackson are newly mated. Jackson is the next alpha of the pack. Chloe could not shift until she was mated and treated terribly by the pack her whole life. Once Chloe and Jackson are together, their chemistry is undeniable, but apart, Chloe is still bullied.
>Jackson has a lot of ex’s. All of them hate Chloe. Even her pack isn’t standing behind her. I found it strange for an alpha like Jackson to not realize what was happening to Chloe. Once danger comes and Chloe proves herself, the pack still demands assurances of Chloe’s status as the alphas’s mate. The actual reason behind the rogue wolf is a bit far-fetched, even for a shifter book.
>The two orphan girls were a cute touch to the story. Jackson and Chloe showed a wonderful family side that cements their relationship. I did enjoy how Chloe begins to grow as an alpha in her own right. I just wish Jackson stood with her more.
> This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars.
Chloe Weiss is no longer a null and has a mate in the next alpha Jackson Swift. Hoever she does not have the happy ending she maybe expected. One the members of the pack that Jackson had tried when looking for his mate is convinced it is not Chloe but her and makes her life difficult. Add to that the rumours that Chloe is an Omega and cannot be mated and she can't imagine things getting worse. Then an old friend of Jackson arrives and appears to be more competition for Jackson.
A rogue male is also in the area and seems to be kidnapping and killing females as he hunts for a female to mate with.
Will Chloe have to fight for Jackson as part of proving she is not and Omega and will they find and catch the rogue Alpha?
A great story with lots of drama, twists and turns. This is very well written and you can really get caught up into the story and live through it via Chloe.
Although some people say you don’t need to read the prequel to this story, which may be true; however I highly recommend reading the prequel first. I’m on the verge of saying it’s necessary to learn how Jackson and Chloe establish their relationship. These are adult books and contain detailed sex scenes. I enjoyed reading more about these two characters and wish Michelle wrote more to their story; but in true fashion, this is a stand-alone in her series in the world of werewolves in Huntsville. I also enjoyed the serial killer plot line which added a sense of urgency to reading it. There are some unexpected twists and turns, but although some of it was predictable, she still tells it in a way that keeps your interest piqued. Thankfully there is no cliffhanger to the ending. I look forward to reading more in the series to see which stand alone story is my favorite.
Title: The Alpha's Mate Author: Michelle Fox Format: Audio Narrator: Audrey Lusk Genre: Paranormal romance, Shifter (wolf), suspense Standalone: Yes Part of a Series: Sequel to Bring Her Wolf, Part of Huntsville Pack POV: Chloe Steam Level: Steamy 3/5
The Alpha's Mate is the sequel to Bring Her Wolf. While you don't need to have read Bring Her Wolf first it does help to show where Chloe is coming from and her previous position in the pack. I liked how Chloe's strength and confidence grew throughout and how she dealt with the mean girls and viciousness of the others. However, what I didn't like was the narrator. The southern accent was awful, like truly terrible. The women were whiny. I almost couldn't listen to it. I sped it up to get through it faster.
I received this audiobook for free from Audiobook Obsession. This is my honest and voluntary review.
The intro for this book Bring Her Wolf was a good read. This was even more enjoyable. I would recommend reading Bring her wolf first to understand about Chloe better. Chloe was ready to leave her pack when the one wolf she wanted gave her what she needed. Now in this book Chloe is still having to prove herself. Some of the bitches that Jackson had sex with won’t give up without causing trouble. Chloe is going to have to prove she is an alpha female and sort out the bitches in the pack trying to bring her down. Then to top it all a friend from Jacksons home pack comes to visit. Chloe just cannot get a break but in the end she triumphs over them all. Glad to see Jackson supporting Chloe this time.
Why can't I find anything wrong with this author? She never lets me down. I read the first story about Jackson and Chloe which I think you should read first to get the full story. She has trouble realizing that Jackson is her mate and how much he loves her. She feels weak and not up to being the alphas mate. But this story will show you different and her too! Great story and definitely worth reading!
OK...another different take on werewolves! Chloe and Jackson's story is well written, fast paced, and full of suspense, excitement, and hot romance. The characters are well rounded and the descriptions put you in the middle of everything. I bought the book quite awhile ago, but just read it today...now I need to read the rest of the series! Michelle certainly has a way with stories! Definite must read!
