>Book review – The Alpha’s Mate: Werewolf Romance
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 1st in the Huntsville Pack series and ends with an HEA. Chloe and Jackson are newly mated. Jackson is the next alpha of the pack. Chloe could not shift until she was mated and treated terribly by the pack her whole life. Once Chloe and Jackson are together, their chemistry is undeniable, but apart, Chloe is still bullied.
>Jackson has a lot of ex’s. All of them hate Chloe. Even her pack isn’t standing behind her. I found it strange for an alpha like Jackson to not realize what was happening to Chloe. Once danger comes and Chloe proves herself, the pack still demands assurances of Chloe’s status as the alphas’s mate. The actual reason behind the rogue wolf is a bit far-fetched, even for a shifter book.
>The two orphan girls were a cute touch to the story. Jackson and Chloe showed a wonderful family side that cements their relationship. I did enjoy how Chloe begins to grow as an alpha in her own right. I just wish Jackson stood with her more.
