Living in the small, weretown of Huntsville, Chloe Weiss once thought she was a null--someone who isn't a were at all. Then she met Jackson Swift, who was able to bring her wolf out. Things should be rosy for Chloe. She's now a full member of the pack, she's mated to the future pack alpha, and Jackson is a magnificent lover. However, the other females in the pack resent Chloe's good fortune and are brazen about it. As if that wasn't bad enough, another she-wolf from Jackson's past blows into town, determined to claim the man she's always considered hers. Chloe's troubles are nothing compared to the trouble that a rogue alpha brings when he skulks into pack territory. Now female wolves are disappearing, and the rogue may have his sights set on a mate worthy of an alpha: Chloe.

The story, what there was of it, was interesting. Instead of being a story with sex in it, however, it seemed to be sex with some plot sprinkled throughout. I'm no prude, but sex is meant to spice up a story, not be the main course. In addition, I didn't like that Chloe had two main rivals. One would have been exciting/exasperating enough, but she just couldn't catch a break. Also, Jackson was far more interested in nookie than he was in seeing to Chloe's emotional needs. She needed fewer orgasms and more support and reassurance.

The story was good, but it could have been better. Giving it an average rating.
