I'm in the middle of reading this book, so far, I'm still waiting for the wow factor. That is beside the point though, I'm interested in knowing why Jan called Ayn Rand a fascist when she is quite clearly the exact opposite of a fascist. I guess that too has become one of those terms that people just through around without every knowing what it really means, like "irony" :)

You should try The Fountainhead. Give Rand a second chance. I enjoyed both Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, but hated Anthem.

I love this book i also love kanye west(who seems have quite similar ideals of late, egotistical and inflated self importance and belief), i also love fascist architecture (most especially those in the EUR and the works of libera and terragni) but this is an absolutely great and hilarious review.

How exactly is this book Fascist? It is a criticism of Collectivism, which is one of the major aspects of Fascism.

These people don't know what fascism is, Benjamin. They've become so infuriatingly hateful to anything right-wing, and started to incorrectly group everything as 'fascist.' Pay them no mind.

I mean, it's just Art Deco. Here in Spain both Falangists and godless Communists used that style in their propaganda but yeah it still sucks ass lol
