I was lucky some of my friends here had already warned me about this book. This story would have been great if some of the female characters were not the, I-want-to-slap-her kind. Also, i can deal with an insecure heroine but there's a limit after it's just annoying.

While i understood the reason for having Mari Lu's(dont care to correct spelling) point of view, it just made me dislike her all the more to be on her head. Part of it, is that Sam and Alyssa have been killing me with their Romeo and Juliet story line. I can't freaking wait to get started on their book next. It's about time i get to stop feeling heartbroken for them.

Danielle The Book Huntress Joan was a real pain in the butt, wasn't she? Mike deserves better, IMHO.

Heck even the old vipers were sometimes better suited for him than her. She kept making herself sound like she was on her 50s, yet encouraging him to see women on their 40s. Made no sense to me at all. Besides which woman on her right mind, would have rejected such a hunk and honest man?

Auntee Don't give up on Mary Lou just yet--she ain't all bad--although in this book I hated her too.:)

Shawna Oh Rossy...you're gonna love the next book! Sam and Alyssa are one of my all time fave romantic couples!

Danielle The Book Huntress Mary Lou won me over. She was just very immature and ignorant. I really liked her by the end of Gone Too Far.

I agree with Shawna that GTF is excellent. Sam and Alyssa are great!

Yeah am reading it now and she's not as hateful, but not my favorite either.

I finally got home from work and can't wait to keep reading it. I seriously want to marry Sam myself. I love how tough he can be at times but so vulnerable when it comes to Alyssa. *sigh*
Not very happy with Max where i am right now though. I think he needs to step back a little, he's crowding my couple a little too much.

It does seem like Ibraham smoothes her edges a bit, not bad.LOL
