At the same time coffee has use as an anti-depressant, and prevents suicide in nurses with increasing effect up to 4 cups a day.
Dosage of caffeine varies greatly from cup to cup (average 100mg). The effects last about 5 hours (with peak after 2).
Nothing on black coffee, but boiled or unfiltered coffee can lead to high cholesterol.
Inconclusive! Drink to your heart's content, or lack thereof!
Sorry I can't be of more help. I'm going to have a cup right now. Cheers!
Haha! That's good enough info for me. I am not a regular coffee drinker but my doctor says my pulse/heart rate is slow and I should drink 4-6 cups of coffee everyday. I do it but only once a day and most of the time I drink green tea. Tea tastes better for me.
OMG, I have to read that book! I have a copy with me since ages!!! Thanks, Leo. Nice to know that you are a Scandinavian (my first Scandinavian friend)! :)
I'm faux Scandinavian! Scotsman hiding out in Stavanger, Norway- don't tell anyone :D
OMG, Scotsman! That's even more awesome. I can picture you in a knight armor or drinking scotch on the rocks hahaha!
Where in the world are you? What do you do?
(also, thanks for reading my recent sporadic micro-reviews!)
I love your reviews - they are short and sweet. Keep writing!
