How do you forgive the man you have loved for so long when he does the unforgiveable? Not only has be broken your emotional trust but your physical well being? I have been intrigued with Tate and Chessy since book one in the Surrender Trilogy. We are shown the good and bad from many sides and from the point of view of their friends. To say this book took me by surprise is an understatement. I really didn’t expect the level of neglect Tate would take things.

I cried for Chessy. To have a relationship like theirs and to see it wither away was just so sad. But, like Chessy, the anger and fear from his neglect made it almost impossible to forgive. To be honest, if I was in her shoes, forgiveness may not have come at all.

Have no fear Tate is out for redemption and he is out to rectify the damage his carelessness has brought to their marriage. It’s a revelation and a review of longing and desires and deciding which ones matter most.

One of the BEST parts of Taking It All was the updates and change of POV’s with all our past cast of characters! Seeing them in their “now” and being a part of Chessy and Tate’s now was a beautiful addition to the last book in the trilogy. But hey, it’s Maya Banks. It’s what she does and she does it well!

Taking It All is an emotional ending to a wonderful little series.

Katelyn Does Tate cheat emotionally/physically during the rough patch? On Bank's website she has an expert of Chessy coming into the restaurant so I'm curious. If he let another woman in while shutting Chessy out - I would count that.
