First off: IF YOU LOVE YA FANTASY AND HAVEN'T READ THIS SERIES, DO IT NOW. It's so, so worth it. Seriously. This series proves that yes, you can fall more in love with a story as it goes along. Heir of Fire has been my favorite in the series, hands down. What the series already provided - kick ass characters, intense character development, amazing settings and story - was tripled. I loved seeing Celaena develop into the woman she has been meant to be since ToG. LOVED. ALSO, while I know some weren't so enthused with the new characters, I think it sets up the story for it's second and final act. I can't wait to see the bigger roles Aedion, Rowan and Manon will play in later on. Reading Heir of Fire makes me very glad I preordered Queen of Shadows. 4.75/5 stars.
