Everyone loved it but me. It happens.

description

I actually did like Alec and Cronin. I just wasn’t interested in the plot at all. I couldn’t get used to the massive info dump and history lesson you had to go through.

I like my books with a little more character development and a little less plot. Because this was all ‘Oh, we have to kill the bad vampires’. And I just wasn’t that interested in it in the first place.

description

I also felt that Alec and Cronin never got to know each other that well. There is a lot of talk about their bond, but I had a hard time believing it. Yes, there were some tender moments and I did enjoy them. But right when I got into it, there was another crisis they had to solve.

I don’t think I will continue with this series. Too much action, too little romance for my taste.

Already loving Alec!"

There is massive info dump, almost no romance and I’m pretty bored. And I am not looking forward to the massive war that is apparently coming.

There must be something wrong with me…."

Buy I honestly don’t understand why?? Why can’t these two just get it on?? Why do they have to ignore the attraction??"

Marcie *tapping finger to mouth* hmmm. I wonder how I'll feel about this one then. And no worries, hun. It happens.

Ryan Santle Exactly how I feel about this book! Every word you said. I'mma follow your reviews from now on :))

However, I'll still read the next one. Since the 2nd is the last book, I want to give it a second chance.

You are so much braver than I am to be reading the next one!

ReviewerLarissa Pfew, it's good to see I'm not the only one. But yes, I can see why people like it, but the plot and info dump could have blended more. If this was a longer series, I would have understood the set-up

Sadie Forsythe I'm just past halfway and feeling exactly the same way.

A bunch of friends is reading the 2nd book now and even though they did like the first one, almost no one likes the second book.
I'm glad I stopped after the 1st.
