What an enchanting book. This is a perfect summer read - it really helps you to reminisce on childhood memories. I adored all the characters and would love for her to write another novel set in Lost Lake! The only problem was this book wasn't edited well - there were tons of grammar and spelling errors that were irksome. Otherwise, a great, light, heartwarming read to pick up when you need a break between the more intense books. On a personal note, I read this at just the right time- my grandma just passed away, and the passages centered around baking and Eby reminded me of her. I feel like her and Eby would have been very good friends. :) 4.25/5 stars
