In this third part of the Chronicles of the Kane, Rick Riordan gets deeper into the exciting world of the Egyptian mythology guided by the Kane brothers. As noted in the previous book, the enemy that threatens the world is still the god of chaos Apophis, but in this novel, the drama, the adventure, and the battles gain in intensity. I have to say that the saga of the Kane’s is one of my favorites, not only because I love fantasy books, but also because of the clever mix of the modern world represented by the two teenage protagonists with the ancient world of the mysterious Egyptian mythology. So to all those readers who haven’t already discovered the saga I recommend to get into it! ;)

En esta tercera entrega de las crónicas de los Kane, Rick Riordan nos sigue adentrando en el interesante mundo de la mitología egipcia de mano de los hermanos Kane. Como ya sucedía en el anterior libro, el enemigo que amenaza el mundo sigue siendo el dios del caos Apophis. Pero al ser la tercera y ultima parte, el dramatismo, la aventura y las batallas ganan en intensidad y cuerpo en esta novela. Tengo que decir que la saga de los Kane es una de mis favoritas, no solo porqué adoro los libros de fantasía, sino también por la inteligente mezcla del mundo actual representado por los dos protagonistas adolescentes con el mundo ancestral de la vasta y misteriosa mitología egipcia. Así que a todos los que aún no conozcáis esta saga os recomiendo que os adentréis en ella! ;)
