oliviasbooks Nina Blazon says "Graceling" meets 'Memoirs of a Geisha'".

message 4: by Flannery (new)

Flannery Ah! Well I hope they release this in the US in English eventually...

message 5: by Morgan (new)

Morgan F Yes, English would be nice.

message 6: by Janina (new)

Janina Oh wow, that sounds very promising ... and I liked all the books you mentioned ;).

It's pretty rare that German books get translated into English, right? The only ones I've ever seen in the YA department are Cornelia Funke or Kai Meyer ...

Miss Bookiverse Please do write a review! I loved Graceling but I'm still not sure I'll like this one.

@Janina: Don't forget about Kerstin Gier! ;) Oh and Andreas Steinhöfel got translated, too. But I can't come up with any more :(

oliviasbooks I started to write a review yesterday, but I was interrupted. Will try tonight.

oliviasbooks The Pact of the Wolves by Nina Blazon by Blazon has been translated, too. But not Faunblut.

message 10: by Miss Bookiverse (new)

Miss Bookiverse Great, thanks :D

message 11: by Janina (new)

Janina Oh yes, you're right! I'm curious to see if Gier's books will as well received internationally as they were over here ...

And I'd love to see Faunblut being translated into English.

message 12: by Miss Bookiverse (new)

Miss Bookiverse I'm curious about that, too. It would be really great.

oliviasbooks I will write a review. Later. Arggggh
